Bringing Shakespeare to the Classroom – My Experience on "Caminos de Tiza"
As an educator, I have always believed in the power of literature to spark curiosity, creativity, and deep thinking in students. This belief led me to design an engaging classroom experience for my sixth-grade students in Literature, at a school in Buenos Aires, Argentina, exploring the timeless works of William Shakespeare. My approach caught the attention of "Caminos de Tiza", an educational television program on Argentina’s Public Television, where I was invited to share this experience.
During the episode, I discussed how I introduced Shakespeare’s plays to young learners in an accessible and interactive way. The project aimed to make classic literature relatable, fostering a deeper connection between students and the themes, characters, and language of Shakespeare’s work. Through creative activities, group discussions, and performative reading strategies, we explored how literature can be brought to life in the classroom.
The full episode is divided into four YouTube videos, showcasing the discussion, educational insights, and classroom strategies that shaped this experience. Please note that the program is in Spanish.

What key aspects should educators consider when managing technology-mediated classes? The discussion focused on practical strategies for designing and planning meaningful lessons, identifying useful resources, and structuring engaging learning experiences for students in today’s digital and blended classrooms.
